I remember that day like it was yesterday, I was here in the office when everything happened. Though it still hurts me to my soul that we suffered the loss of Reed and Riley and that our University went through this tragic event, I am grateful to have my Charlotte family around me. I saw and heard about many heroics as a result of this event. I saw a whole city step out for our University and show their support in so many ways. I saw police running into expected danger. I saw people loving and caring on each other no matter what. I saw much of the good that can come from the bad. Each day that passes I remind myself that I work at a wonderful University that stepped up and took action to love and support everyone through this and continues to do so. CHARLOTTE STRONG!
