Mark Colone ’83

There are no words to describe the late afternoon of 4/30. There are heroes: Riley, Reed, the first responders, our awesome police chief and his police force, and the strength, resolve, and amazing grace in the eye of tragedy by our Chancellor and his staff. I was hit personally with the losses, especially in Reed, and in the injuries suffered by Emily and Drew. Am I surprised that we had the brave act of Riley? No. Am I surprised it happened on our campus? Yes, but we were and are prepared and we are #Charlotte Strong. God bless us everyone.
