Chloe King

I am currently a freshman at Charlotte and I have loved every second of being at this amazing school. Although I wasn’t a student at UNCC last year, I was so in love with Charlotte and the people. When news broke of this tragedy I was heartbroken. Too many cases of gun violence splatter the news, however it is so much more numbing when it involves something you love. The shooting at UNCC did not waiver my love or trust in Charlotte. In fact, the incredible way the Niner Nation family rallied together made me love Charlotte even more. We are strong and resilient people, and we will never forget the tragedy and loss we felt that day.
