Laurie Garo

I was Riley’s academic adviser in the Department of Earth, Environmental and Geographical Sciences in 2019. I had met with Riley just 2 weeks prior to this tragic day. Riley was such a bright and caring young man with a positive spirit that lit up the room as he shared with me his hopes and dreams for his future. He was soon to graduate. I am not surprised by his bravery on that day, but so wish he was still with us. I miss you Riley.
