I am currently a freshman at UNC Charlotte and I have loved every second of being at this amazing school. Although I wasn’t a student at UNC Charlotte last year, I was so in love with UNC Charlotte and the people. When news broke of this tragedy I was heartbroken. Too many cases of gun violence splatter the news, however it is so much more numbing when it involves something you love. The shooting at UNC Charlotte did not waiver my love or trust in UNC Charlotte. In fact, the incredible way the Niner Nation family rallied together made me love UNC Charlotte even more. We are strong and resilient people, and we will never forget the tragedy and loss we felt that day.
