Even almost 40 years from graduation, this horrific event has shook me to the core. I feel a bond with all of Niner Nation that is stronger than ever. To all Niners — past, present, and future — we all #Charlotte Strong! My prayers go to the families of Riley and Reed, may God give you comfort. To those injured, my prayers also for a speedy and full recovery. I am proud to be associated with such a great university!
