Dear Parlier and Howell families, my heart and prayers are with you. Your sons, at a young age, show more courage and care for others than anything the kids at UNC Charlotte will ever see! They are leaving a legacy of love and an example of kindness that will mold the lives of everyone that will pass thru UNC Charlotte.

To the kids that are recuperating physically, my prayers that you will have a fast recovery.

To all of the UNC Charlotte family, my prayers are of spiritual and emotional healing.

And I hope this horrible and sad situation will never be forgotten, but will be the beginning of a great change in our society; it’s more than time to start respecting every life as it should be, the most precious creation God ever did.
