(as I write through my tears): My prayers and thoughts are with each and every student now attending my alma mater and especially with all the families of those whose lives were tragically lost. They are also with those students who are presently recovering from injuries sustained on that day. All of you please keep your head up and HOLD ON TO THE POWER AND STRENGTH OF LOVE, FELLOWSHIP, UNITY and in time with GRACE AND HELP, FORGIVENESS. These abilities and qualities WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED.
Our tears may flow today, but collectively they only serve to STRENGTHEN US to CONTINUE TO STAND TOGETHER AND NEVER LET ANYONE OR ANYTHING SEPARATE US. One Heart, One Nation, One Creator, ONE LOVE! Claire Griffin, ’78
